Without anxiety and illness I should have been like a ship without a rudder.

— Edvard Munch

David Haggerty is a neuroscience graduate student at the Indiana University School of Medicine.

When I'm not looking at brains, I develop mental health programs for companies and research organizations.

When I take breaks from using my brain, you'll find me planting flowers.

My work focuses on synthesizing neuroscience and other disciplines of science through media and cultural outputs. I take theory and hypothesis testing out the lab and to create interactive, palpable displays of the power of science.

Always experimenting with new approaches and fields, I'm equally comfortable with molecular biology and neuroscience lab techniques, survey methodology, nonprofit development, and media design.
